Choice Training is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Building Services Engineering to join our experienced and dedicated construction team, based at our Dagenham centre in Essex.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a full-time Lecturer in Construction and the Built Environment who is passionate about education and keen to support the next generation of industry professionals.
The Role
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of programmes within Building Services Engineering, supporting learners to achieve both academically and practically.
Teaching may include, but is not limited to:
Science Principles for Building Services Engineering
Sustainable Construction
Your individual areas of expertise will be explored further at interview, allowing us to identify how your skills and experience best fit within our existing team.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Dependent on experience
Location: Dagenham, Essex

About You
We are looking for an individual who brings both industry knowledge and strong communication skills. You will be confident engaging with learners of different ages and abilities, and committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning.
Essential and desirable criteria include:
Industry experience within construction or building services at Level 3 or above
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience teaching at National or Higher National level (desirable)
A Certificate in Education, or a willingness to work towards one (teacher training will be provided if required)
